Meet The Cast 

Get to know the talented actors who bring the characters of “Leaving Iowa” to life. Each member of our cast brings a unique energy and skill to the stage, creating a captivating and memorable performance that will resonate with the audience long after the curtain falls.

Oella Berty I super excited to be playing Jamie in this production of Leaving Iowa. This is her second show at Chatard and has absolutely loved the community she has joined. She would like to thank her parents for being her biggest fans and all her friends for having a blast at each rehearsal with her. Enjoy the show!

Elizabeth Burrows is very excited to be playing Amish Gal #2 in this production of Leaving Iowa! Elizabeth has previously participated in Peter Pan Jr., Alice in Wonderland Jr., Annie Jr., and Seussical. A favorite memory Elizabeth has had from rehearsals is when she and the rest of the cast did the read through. She would love to thank her family, friends, and all of the cast and crew.

Lilly Dangler is a sophomore who is excited to take part in her third show at Chatard. She also partakes in student ambassadors, best buddies, and golf. Lilly has always loved theatre and is excited to be in this show, with her friends. She hopes you like the show almost as much as she liked being a part of it. She would also like to thank her biggest supporters, her mom and dad.

Emmy Bobenmoyer is very excited to be playing the role of Aunt Phyllis. She is a freshman and is also interested in tennis, soccer, and mock trail. She has been in a handful of other shows such as Murder at the Art Show, the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Footloose, Fairy Tale, Law and Order, Godspell, and most famously the role of the judge in her fourth grade Christmas performance. Emmy is very grateful for the wonderful cast and crew helping with this production and cant wait for the musical this winter.

Kiera Brothers  is excited to be playing the part of the "shopping lady" in this production of  Leaving Iowa! Her favorite part of this show is getting to know the new people she is practicing with. She also enjoyed being on paint crew!

Ellie Christenberry is a senior and is very excited to be playing the role of Mom in Leaving Iowa! She has been in 4 Chatard shows acting, 2 shows as crew and most recently was Grandma in The Addams Family. Her favorite theatre memory was taking on the role of Jedediah the J-trap Genie in the one act Pipe Dream and the amazing people it brought to her. She would like to thank her family for supporting her always and Mr. Z & Ms. Holly for helping her realize what she wants to do in the future!

Jackson Donnelly is very grateful to be playing the Dad in this production of Leaving Iowa. He has also done several other productions at Bishop Chatard. His favorite theatre memory from last year was singing in Move Toward The Darkness as Lurch in Addam’s Family.

Maggie Croddy is a Senior this year who is super excited to be Jessie the waitress in Leaving Iowa. She has done a few different parts for various shows at Chatard, including Irene in Radium girls. One thing she plans to take away from this show would be the laughs and memories made along the way.

Maria Dudley  is a sophomore at BCHS, is part Sounds of Silas and Vox Troiano Choirs, Track and Field and Swim Team. She enjoys singing, playing the piano, reading and watching her favorite movies. Her favorite movies are Lord of the Rings Return of the King, BBC Pride and Prejudice, and the Princess Bride. Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. Her favorite song is Torn by Nathen Lanier.

Molly Faris is so excited to be playing Elaine (aka Wayne) in this production of Leaving Iowa! She loves being a part of the cast and getting closer to the other people in the show. Big thanks to her sister (and Moosie) for helping her run lines and practice being deadpan.

Oliver Lam  is very excited to be back on stage this year, this time as his first lead role: Don Browning! Having played the Lovesick Cowboy in Radium Girls and an ancestor in the Addams Family, Oliver’s favorite memory from theater is performing Yoda in the Star Wars One-act last year. Oliver would like to thank his brother Ben for inspiring him to pursue theater, as well as the rest of his family for encouraging him in his performances.

Juliette Hatcher , a Freshman newcomer to BCHS this year, brings with her the experience of her roles from years gone by. Her wisdom from playing the loveable Pabbi in Frozen, the fierceness in Te-Ka from Moana, and friendship and bravery from her debut as Pumbaa in Lion King has poineered her way to become the Museum Assistant that you see before you today.

Caroline Mason is a sophomore at Bishop Chatard and is so excited to be cast as Judy in the fall play, Leaving Iowa. She has loved getting to know freshman and other cast members. Caroline has been in many shows before including Lion King Jr., Rock of Ages, Radium Girls, Addams Family, and Senior One Acts. Caroline's favorite memory would be getting ready with her friends last year while signing the Encanto soundtrack in the  girls locker room before tech week rehearsals. Caroline would like to thank Mrs. Lam for always being able to help our theater department with killer costumes, Kiera Brothers for always making her laugh during rehearsals, and most importantly her family for being supportive and helping her with memorizing her lines.

Olivia Krause is very excited to be playing the role of Sis in Leaving Iowa! she is a junior at Chatard and is also involved in Thespian Society, Improv Team, Mock Trial, Sounds of Silas and Vox Troiano. Her favorite Chatard theater memory so far is tech week boba with her besties. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Caden McQueen is a Freshman this year at Bishop Chatard who is very excited for the opportunity to play both Bob and Grandpa in this year's fall play. He previously went to grade school at St. Luke where he participated in a number of musicals. He cannot wait to perform and gain new experienece here at Bishop Chatard.

Sean O'Gara is so excited to play Jack Singer in Leaving Iowa! This is his second year in the school play, with his first performance being in Radium Girls. His favorite theatre memory is of the Spring Senior One-Acts, being dragged across the floor while playing a corpse. He would like to thank his family, friends, and fellow actors.

Andie Papesh is so excited to be playing the role of Lieutenant Dan Meechum in this year’s production of Leaving Iowa! Andie is a sophomore and has loved all the memories she has made with her classmates! She would like to thank her best friend Oella for always supporting her and always pushing her to the best of her abilities. She has loved getting to know so many new people and building friendships with them. She hopes you love the show!

Marcus Pivec is very excited to be playing Uncle Phil and the Joe Hoefingers in this production of Leaving Iowa. In the past, he's played Lucas in Addams Family and Tom in Radium Girls.

Madi Robinson is SO excited to be Winifred/Fred in Leaving Iowa! She loves making people laugh and she loves being a part of the plays. Some of her past shows are, Suessical Jr., Lion King Jr., and Moana Jr., at her elementary school, and Radium Girls and Addams Family here at Chatard. She would like to thank her family for being so supportive and her friends for giving her rides and for just being there. One of Madi’s favorite memories from rehearsals was when we had a wonky rehearsal and everyone was late and she just messed around with her friends.

Avery Weaver fell in love with theatre when she was in 2nd Grade. This will be her first performance at BCHS.

Maddie Welty is a sophomore at Bishop Chatard and is so excited to be playing Grandma is the play alongside do many amazing people.Her favorite memory from the show is that she loves all the funny moments in the show.She was so excited that she made some many ew friend during all of the practices.

Morgan Rusbasan is super excited to be performing in her first Chatard production, Leaving Iowa. She is a freshman, but  she has been involved in several other shows around the city, making this her 8th show. When not on stage, Morgan loves making people laugh on the improv team, participating in mock trial, and (attempting) to sing her heart out in choir. One of her favorite theater memories with the cast was during the read through, and laughing at the hilarious script. Morgan would like to thank Mr. Z and Miss Holly for their support, along with her friends, family, and new theater community.
