Meet The Crew 

Welcome to the crew page. Our journey is filled with creativity, dedication, and countless hours of hard work to help make this show happen. We strive to create unforgettable experiences for our audience. 

Eli Acklin is very happy to of contributed to this amazing show through the power of building. Just remember “Adventures in Iowa are like steep hills - pretty hard to come by”. Enjoy the show.

Emma Bishop is very excited to have had to have had the opportunity to be on the costumes crew in this production of Leaving Iowa! Her favorite memory is going to the loft to search for the costumes.

Trent Blume is in his second year in crew and really enjoys all of the memories and friends that he had made through the theater program

Ellie Burchard is a Senior this year and is so excited to be part of the costumes crew! She loves working closely with the cast members. She does not have a favorite memory, but she enjoys the time she shares with everyone.

Amia Collins is a sophomore with a passion for theatre and any art related activities. This year Amia will be contributing her talents behind the scenes with the adverting crew . She love to give many thank you to her Mom and Dad for their support and belief in her dreams and always being there for her.

Lily Conard is very excited to be a part of building and loves being on house and decorating crew.

Abby Donelly enjoys being on the building crew. She has lots of fun.

Julia Dunn is a Senior who has done crew for the past 3 years. For the last two years she has worked in costumes for the plays and musicals, while sophomore year she participated in advertisement and set building. Her favorite memory from being in the theater department was acting as a stormtrooper in, “The Force is strong with this one (act)” during senior one acts last year.

Abby Fix is a senior at BCHS and is so excited to work on her last fall play, Leaving Iowa! She has loved being a part of costumes crew for the plays and being co head of the crew with Courtney for the second year. Abby was in the cast for Oklahoma and Fiddler and in costumes crew for Kindergarten, Radium Girls, and Addams Family. Her favorite theater memories are pre show circles times, pre rehearsal Panera runs, the crew cheer, and dancing backstage during musicals. She wants to thank her family, friends, the directors, and Mrs. Lam for being so supportive, encouraging, and providing her with wonderful opportunities. And God for making all things possible. She hopes you enjoy Leaving Iowa!

Genevieve Freeman is very excited to be apart of painting the set for this production of Leaving Iowa! This is the first play that she has taken part of at Bishop Chatard high school, and the first lay that she has helped out with in general. She would like to thank Kiera Brothers for getting her to finally help out, and Shayla Lopez-Ayala for joining her, even if she had to sign up late to do so.

Maria Gejdos is a junior and is very happy to be on set crew for Leaving Iowa! She is excited to see the whole set come together and she is eager to learn and improve on her set building skills.

Georgia Kramer is proud to say that this is her 3rd year being Stage Manager at Chatard. She is an active student at chatard and never regrets dedicated time to be in the theater program! She is happy to be able to call this community her family, and greatly misses her sister who is the reason she is in this program in the first place. Now relax and enjoy the show!

Griffin Larsen is excited to be in the lights crew for Leaving Iowa! Griffin has not been in any theater productions at Chatard, but he is involved in choir.

Shayli Lopez-Ayala is excited to be part of crew for the play! She thanks all her friends who convinced her to take part.

Kate Lowry is a sophomore and is very excited to be on costuming crew for this production of Leaving Iowa! In the past she has helped with costuming for the Addams Family and hopes to be a part of more productions in the future!

Nick Marrano is thrilled to be a part of the crew in this production of leaving Iowa! This is his first and last year being a part of Chatard theatre and he would like to thank his friends for getting him involved.

Grace Mcabb is excited to be a new member of the painting crew!

Emily Meckauskas is so excited to be the Head of Sound Crew. She has been on sound crew for four years. She’d like to thank her sister for getting her into theatre, her parents for supporting her, and everyone working on these productions for all of their help throughout the years!

Matthew Olivares is cool

Aly Polackin is very excited to be the head of props crew for this years production of leaving Iowa! She has previously been seen on the stage as Alice, in the Addams Family and Katherine Wiley, in Radium Girls. She also has been a part of the cast for All I really need to know I learned in kindergarten and Fiddler on the Roof. Her favorite memory from Chatard theater is trying not to laugh during the last scene of Fiddler, when the wheel wouldn’t stop creeping when everyone else was silent. She would like to thank her parents for always being there for her, her friends for always supporting her, and her dogs for bring humor to her days.

Angelica Sak is very interested in painting for Leaving Iowa.

Zach Smith is so excited to be on the sound crew for Leaving Iowa! As a senior, he has been involved in crew since freshman year and joined sound crew as a sophomore. His favorite memory is doing mic changes with Simon Lehmkuhler for Radium Girls and Fiddler on the Roof, and playing Super Smash Bros backstage during Addams’s Family with him too.

Justin Smith is a freshman and is exited to do crew with his brother. He also exited to help make ‘Leaving Iowa’ happen with his friends and make new ones.

Lena Stickel is a senior at Chatard and she is super excited to be on sound crew for Leaving Iowa! In the past, Lena ha performed in every Chatard show except Done to Death, which was her first crew show. Lena wants to thank all the senior who have been with her since freshman year and all the seniors that she got to know along the way. Lena’s favorite Chatard theater memory has to be when she tried and failed to fly a kite before Fiddler on the Roof with Zeke, Shafer, Aidan, and Van.

Johnathan Taylor is a happy to be part of the lights crew for the fourth time in a row. He is happy to not be head of lights but will miss the spotlights as he is on spotlights. He was on lights crew for all major plays and musicals that have happened at BCHS.

Joy Teter-McCurdy feels very ecstatic to be a part of the sound crew in this production of Leaving Iowa!

Emma Turner is very excited to be a part of building crew, and loves being a part of house crew.

Addy Vaiquett is excited to be a part of the crew for leaving Iowa. She has been I the cast of multiple musicals while in middle school, but never the crew. She would like to thank her parents for pushing her to find something she’s interested in.

Harper Wynne is very excited to be a part of the art crew in this production of Leaving Iowa. Harper has been in the musicals Peter Pan, The Seussical, and Alice and Wonderland at her grade school Saint Joan Of Arc. She would like to thank her mom for encouraging her to sign up for the art crew.
